1         c) and d); the telephone network can also carry fax and data messages, and a fax machine will not work if the telephone network is disrupted or overloaded.

2         a) and d); the Internet is more flexible than the telephone network and non-public networks do not provide access for other users than those for whom they have been designed.

3          b) and c); on a public network, the users have control only over the terminal equipment on their premises, such as telephones or fax machines, but not over the infrastructure.
