Sheikh Khalifa Government Program aims at achieving the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to enable the government sector to achieve and sustain excellence in government services, performance, operations and outcomes. The Program was established by Resolution No. (165/22) dated 6th December 2006.
The Program encourages government authorities to use a universal model of excellence and to adopt a variety of initiatives to promote a culture of creativity, loyalty and excellence among all public sector employees.
The Excellence Program positions the UAE government as a “government of Excellence” in creating the right environment for providing excellent services and converting the country into a hub for the new world economy.
The Excellence Program’s first phase was concluded in October 2010 by recognizing and awarding the achievements and initiatives of excellent models and examples for a sustainable information society of the federal government.
