Developing Forecast Indicators for Information Society Development based on the State Statistics and Administrative Reports website of the activity
Activity description:
The project was completed in 2008 according to the state contract between the Federal Education Agency and the Institute of the Information Society as part of implementing the “Electronic Russia 2002-2010” Program. The Institute developed a system of indicators describing the key directions and factors of information society development at the federal and regional levels as well as created methodology and tools for collecting primary data required for calculating these indicators. The IIS tested these methods and tools during the final stages of the project using the 2007 data and also prepared a forecast of the key information society development indicators annually up to 2015.
