E-learning sevices through IPTV
Activity description:
KCC (Korea Communications Commission) and MEST (Ministry of Education, Science and Technology) decided to build IPTV network in schools in 2009 and several local government has set IPTV study rooms to offer a supplementary education contents after school. As the result, it is available studying with famous teachers¡¯ on or off-line lectures and multimedia-learning in classrooms from 2010 when IPTV education network is built completely for a nation. The business of IPTV network construction in schools is that Internet network which was already constructed in about 240 thousand classrooms for a nation (about 11,000 schools including primary, middle and high schools) is developed up to 50Mbps which makes the IPTV service available. Besides over 40 IPTV study rooms were built in Korea for the underprivileged children.
