Regional Strategy Guidelines for CEEAC and CEMAC.
Activity description:
The activities are aimed at adopting a regional strategy on the Information and knowledge society for the two regional integration institutions of Central Africa, which are CEEAC and CEMAC. The following are being developed for adoption:
- On the establishment of a Committee of Regulators;
- On harmonized ICT framework;
- On Universal Service;
- On harmonized electronic communications tariffs.
Furthermore, in collaboration with ITU, Governments of anada and Finland, and African Union, UNECA developing harmonized guidelines on personal data protection, cyber crime and E-signature.
