Contribute to development of TICBolivia network and the ICT National strategy implementation process. website of the activity
Activity description:
ICO is member of TICBolivia network and our participation into the construction of National ICT Strategy process, was very important. This Strategy was launched in January, 12, 2006. Actually ICO is the secretariat of the coordination committee of TICBolivia network.
Now the main challenge of civil society and the government is how to implement and made of strategy an useful tool and convergence point between all the actors.
In this context, TICBolivia Network pretend take the initiative in the implementation process and promote variety of events to analyze and contribute to consolidation of ICT national strategy.
All the members of TICBolivia network, are implementing projects using the ICT for the human sustainable development.
In an specific event TICBolivia network will announce all their activities to contribute at implementation of ICT National Strategy.
One of the action lines of WSIS for the Governments is define national strategies related with the the goals of the Millennium Declaration. In the case of Bolivia, the launched of National ICT Strategy is an important step in this direction.
