Computer training caravan in some secondary schools of Burundi
The volunteers of BYTC will carry out trainings in office automation in favour of some professors and of some pupils of two public secondary schools pilots : College of the Lake Tanganyika and the College of Nyabiharage for its pilot phase.These formations will be carried out with computer equipement that association BYTC received as gift from of Africacomputing association and Webvolcans
association as well as others to require from other partners.
The volunteers of BYTC will have to create multi-media CDsof support for the course of Biology of the class of 7th year.The duration of the trainings will be four weeks by school.
The trainings are to cover operating system (Microsoft Windows and Linux),office softwares (Microsoft Office and Open Office), as well as initiation with the use of Internet. The second phase will consist in creating computing clubs in these schools equiping each school of ten second hand computers and a laser printer that BYTC will require from its givers.
The goal of these clubs is to continue to extend our trainings in these educational establishments.
Indeed, those who will have been trained are to traine new members of theschool community.
The Main Objective:Integrate ICTs in the educational system of Burundi.
