Government of Kerala Initiative for brining the benefits of Information and Communication Technologies to the common man. Akshaya project envisages reaching out to every household in the State and extending meaningful intervention to make an impact in citizens’ lives. Akshaya Project pursues an e-Governance vision encompassing setting up of citizen-friendly-services at the last-mile through interfaces for information and transaction, and ICT enabled framework involving businesses, enterprises, institutions and organizations to enable mutual collaboration.
Three Components of Akshaya:
• Ensuring broad-based access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for every citizen.
• Providing basic functional skills (100% Household e-literacy)
• Making available content relevant to the local population in the local language
