By promoting and supporting free and open source solutions the project is to foster an affordable and stustainable ICT model. This is to encourage new businesses and new employment opportunities. The project consists of several components: 1) Realization of an open source conference in each participating country; The conference is to provide some basics and is to show possiblities of free and open source solutions 2) Establishment of regional communities 3) Build-up of PPP projects and and cooperation with the businesses and other partners in the region 4) The asian open source community will present their services and products during a final workshop held in Europe
