Internet provided Information on Health issues for deprived target groups in Tanzania website of the activity
Activity description:
This project aims at improving the HIV/AIDS and the Reproductive health situation in Tansania with the help of ICT technologies. For that purpose a web-based platform was installed. This platform is to inform and to sensitize young people on reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and other issues. PCs with internet access were placed in hospitals, health centres, schools, youth centres etc. This project not only provides important information about health related issues, it also trains people (with a special focus on women) to learn how to work with and how to maintain a computer.
