The goal of the APII Test-bed Project is for related countries to work in collaboration to promote the construction of an efficient information infrastructure which will improve the socio-economic status in the Asia-Pacific region. The APII Test-bed project will connect research and experimental networks between economies and regions. With these facilities, developments and experiments for the applications for tele-medicine and other fields will be conducted along with joint research and development in the technology of the network and its utilization.
