The Community Technology Centre program was jointly funded by the State and Commonwealth Government and managed by the State Government. It provides many important facilities and services to rural communities by bringing the benefits of Information and Communications Technology to the 83 small towns in the CTC@NSW Network. Using the community-managed centres, people are able to connect to the Internet, send e-mails and become familiar with electronic business and web site development, desktop publishing, online education and videoconferencing.
