The Le@rning Federation (TLF): Schools Online Curriculum Content Initiative is a collaborative initiative between the Australian Government, State and Territory governments and New Zealand. The initiative is designed to create online curriculum materials and the neccessary infrastructure to ensure that teachers and students in Australia and New Zealand can use online materials to widen and enhance their learning experiences in the classroom. School systems throughout Australia now assign a high priority for the use of ICT in teaching and learning. TLF online curriculum content contributes to the growing resource of Australian digital content. The initiative is developing high quality content in the priority learning areas: Science; Mathematics and Numeracy; Literacy for Students at Risk; Studies of Australia; Innovation, Enterprise and Creativity; and Languages other than English.
