Today BSNL is proud of having gained confidence of 43.5 million telephone users, which includes around 8.2 million cellular customers and 1.5 million internet customers. BSNL is providing service in the remotest corners of the country and working hard to serve unfound area of the country. BSNL has provided 12.4 million rural telephones and 0.511 million village public telephones across the country.These efforts are expected to improve the reach and resposiveness of service, reduce cost of services and address the urgent needs of poor communities and isolated regions.
