A methodology for implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) has been developed for any Ministry or Department irrespective of size, mandate, segment or sector. An ISMS web-based skeleton has been created that includes central policies and procedures with risk assessment formulae accounting for security threats and impacts. Risk Treatment Plans (RTPs) are already developed for core functions of any department: financial/stores, filing, personnel, IT operations. Additional RTPs are then developed for specific areas. |
