Micro Virtual Volunteering new Social Network website of the activity |
| Activity description: | I propose the creation of a new, global social network in order to promote new forms of distance cooperation for NGOs and activists. More specifically, the new powerful social network should establish a revolutionary form of Virtual Volunteering: micro-volunteering . World citizens will offer their time and professional skills, working at their own pace, from their home’s computers.A Micro- virtual volunteering task should require maximum 1 hour time to complete. The new social network will offer future members three types of public profiles: volunteers, not-for-profits, and companies. Registration will be free for all. Companies should reward volunteers and not-for-profit organizations proportional with their levels of activity and the number of points earned through using the network. Benefits : The planet itself :rapid development and increased social justice. Volunteers: Doing good by doing what you are best at Organizations: Limitless human resources available for free for cross-cultural cooperation Companies :join the social network as donors => great CSR campaigns. |
