Abu Dhabi Information and Systems Centre Strategy |
| Activity description: | Abu Dhabi government’s e-strategy was developed and has been maintained by Abu Dhabi Information and Systems Centre (ADSIC) in Abu Dhabi. ADSIC crafted the Abu Dhabi e-strategy that supports the e-government vision. The e-strategy looks after and caters for the different dimensions of the E-R-U Framework environment, readiness, and usage implications. The strategy depicts Abu Dhabi as a service oriented government which focuses on providing high class government services. The strategy has been developed through six different steps; crafting the vision for a service-oriented government, formulating the service-oriented government strategy, adopting the service-oriented government strategy, assessing the current situation, defining strategic initiatives in the various sectors and finally developing a comprehensive implementation plan. The implementation plan has been rolled out in 4 different phases since 2006 in order to ensure and maintain efficiency in managing the various recommended projects and initiatives within every phase. |
