Activity description: CPA Uganda, I-Network, UCC, Elmot and other partners are proposing to partner with the Ministry of ICT Uganda, UNDP and the UN System in Uganda to mark this day with activities around the country for one week such as a public debates or symposia in line with the WSIS Tunis 2005 Outcomes led by an Action Line under a lead UN agency in Uganda. The symposium will be held on 20th May 2008 in Kampala with several speakers. The proposed national theme for Uganda is "Connecting the Disadvantaged Groups: Benefits of ICTs"
