| Activity description: | AHCIET, y por estensión, La Red Iberoamericana de Ciudades Digitales, iberomunicipio.org, puso en marcha esta iniciativa hace 2 años. La finalidad de este concurso es la de premiar e impulsar iniciativas de desarrollo y modernización de municipios latinoamericanos, además de incentivar el esfuerzo de los municipios que apuestan por la integración de los ciudadanos en el desarrollo municipal y su contribución a la minimización de la brecha digital por la utilización de las nuevas tecnologías. Este premio se dirige a todas las administraciones locales de América Latina y El Caribe que se encuentren en cualquier etapa de su proceso de modernización digital y que hayan impulsado e integrado las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TICs) en la vida económica, social y cultural de su ciudad. |
