| Activity description: | "ASCCA’s 100+ clubs include amongst its membership many older people with a range of disabilities, such as low vision, hearing loss, reduced mobility, limited hand-function, memory loss as well as people with long term disabilities such as wheelchair users and total vision loss.The project includes four components: · Website at www.seniorcomputing.org/access.htm - includes webpages and links to adaptive technology, communicating with people with a disability, advice on locating and fitting out training rooms. · Two pamphlets entitled Eyesight a worry; and Keyboard or mouse too difficult · Information sheet widely available though Seniors Information Service · Adaptive Technology seminar August 2003. " |
