| Activity description: | EdNA Online is an online network for the Australian education and training community - government and non-government schools, vocational education and training, adult and community education, and higher education. It provides a sophisticated information service and directory about education and training in Australia, together with a comprehensive database of quality assured web based resources to support teaching and learning. It also provides a range of shared web services including distributed content feeds to other websites and portals, and contributes to the development of online standards related to education, and it provides the technical infrastructure that delivers a range of related web services and other ‘sibling’ sites. EdNA Online promotes the benefits of the Internet for learning, education and training in Australia and provides an online platform to promote collaboration and cooperation throughout the Australian education and training community and facilitate the growth of networks of common interest or practice. |
