| Activity description: | Australia funded this project with the objective of offering basic and vocational IT training to residents of five refugee camps in the West Bank and developing a sustainable educational and communication information tool.Well-equipped computer and internet centres were established, staff were trained in technical and management skills, and a variety of course were offered to camp residents. This included training in IT teaching for teachers, and internet and computer use for school children. Websites were established to share information within the camp, with other camps and international community. |
