| Activity description: | "Stellwerk" is an adaptive test system to determine an individaul profile of competence for students of the 8th school year in the subjects German, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, French, and English. The system is based on a reference framework. In it, readily understandable definitions of abilities divided into three levels are listed for the five specific subjects. This enables the students to assess their own level of proficiency and then go on to do the online test. The system automatically generates adequate tasks based on the student’s behaviour while prodeeding with the answers. In this way, the current level of performance in the different specific subjects is determined. The profile of performance is used for efficient promotion and for the planning of further steps towards the future. |
