Mr. Safroadu Yeboah-Amankwah is a Senior Partner in McKinsey’s Sub-Saharan Office. He is based in Johannesburg. Until 2011, Saf was based in Washington, DC where he was a leader in McKinsey’s Telecom, Media and Technology practice. Over the last 18 years at McKinsey, he has served major global High Tech, Telecom, Private Equity and Public/Social Sector organizations on corporate and growth strategy, and performance transformation. His passion is helping clients build new businesses. Today, Saf is supporting several African and European Telecom, Banking, and Network infrastructure institutions on their operational transformation and growth initiatives. In addition, he is leading McKinsey’s Africa Technology practice. A citizen of the United States and Ghana, Saf earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1993 and 1994 respectively.
