PSJ3 : The Spectrum Struggle in Asia: Technological Convergence Challenges to the Satellite Industry

Mr. Andrew Jordan was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President Strategic Projects of Eutelsat SA in July 2013, following its 2012 acquisition of GE Satellite, where he served as CEO.
Prior to joining GE, he ran his own consulting firm and held senior executive management positions in AsiaSat, PanAmSat and Measat. . In over 20 years of close involvement with the satellite industry, Andrew has worked with all of the major broadcasters and telecommunications operators in the Asia Pacific region. His experience includes the negotiation of large and complex deals in China, India, Australia and Italy.
Andrew has written articles on or been widely quoted on satellite, television and telecommunications matters in various publications, including the Financial Times, the Asian Wall St Journal, the Australian Financial Review and numerous industry publications. With a BA Degree in Chinese from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies, London University), Andrew's entire career has been focused on the Asia Pacific region.
Andrew serves on the Board of Directors and the Council of Governors of CASBAA (the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia).
