Andrew Haire has over 30 years of experience across four continents and has been associated with some of the most successful telecom initiatives around the world. His work in over 40 economies and jurisdictions primarily focused on industry policy, market growth, strategy, the sector’s direction, technical opportunities, and economic structure. He was responsible for policy that included seminal work in privacy, data protection, and property rights. He has been responsible for architecting major policy frameworks in the telecoms, technology, and postal sectors, as well as serving as regulator for 10 years at Singapore’s IDA soon after its inception in the year 2000

Previously, his experience included integral senior management roles with regulatory and public policy portfolios at one of the world’s largest telecom operators and before that various engineering and management positions at the world’s largest computer company.

Mr. Haire, a US citizen, graduated with honors in engineering in the United States, attended the advanced management program at Harvard University, and at American University’s (Washington D.C.) Graduate School of Public Administration. He has delivered papers / speeches on policy and regulatory frameworks in Singapore, many parts of Asia, Europe and North America
