Born on the 23rd of April of 1967, married with Paula Naim who gave him three beautiful kids, Nicolas Maurice Sehnaoui, is Lebanon’s Minister of Telecommunications since June 2011.
Previously, in his business life, he successfully managed many private companies varying from life insurance to construction equipment distribution.
Nicolas Sehnaoui studied in the “Grand Lycee Franco – Libanais de Beyrouth” and then got his BA in Economics from “Paris II Assas”. He holds a Master degree in Business Administration from “Ecole Superieure des Affaires â€“ ESCP”.
He is the co-founder of Mouna Bustros Foundation a humanitarian NGO named after his late mother and aimed at helping Lebanese citizens in need in the various suburbs of Beirut.
In 1990 he also co-founded the Lebanese Citizen’s Movement which militated for a secular Lebanon. From 2005 to 2011 he headed the Free Patriotic Movement Economic Committee.
His Socio-Professional activities include membership of the Young President Association Lebanese Chapter since 2006.
In 2009 Nicolas Sehnaoui ran for parliamentary elections for the Achrafieh district and lost receiving the ballots of only 47% of the votes. In 2010 he wrote “L’avenir nous appartiens si… ” which achieved a sales record at “Le Salon du Livre … during the signature event.
