Although innovative technologies have provided substantial benefits to modern society, there are still a large number of people who cannot enjoy them due to the lack of accessibility features. The objectives of the panel is to discuss the current trends, status and future evolution of accessibility and ICTs, assistive technologies and e-health... Within an accessibility framework, assistive technologies and e-health are playing an increasing important role as they are designed to help any person with any ability, to achieve greater independence at all levels, at home, at work and in the normal life. The panel will be an excellent platform to share experiences and best practices for ICT policies, strategies and services, to meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
