Timetable and dates
The free shuttles, which will be operating in the
PALEXPO area, will run from 08h30 to 19h00 continuously, from 9 to 17
October 1999.
Frequency
The shuttles will run every 10 minutes from 08h30
to 11h30, every 20 minutes from 11h40 to 16h50, and every 10 minutes from 17h00 to 19h00.
TPG Pass (Geneva Public Transport system)
Several types of pass are available for use on
Geneva Public Transport (TPG) buses and trams. For the Telecom event there are also two
special passes available for 11 and 15 days at a price of Swiss Francs 45.-- and Swiss Francs 65.-- respectively.
These passes allow unlimited travel during the period across TPG areas 10 to 71 and on the
CFF railway line from Genevas main station, Cornavin, to the airport train station,
Cointrin.
CFF Pass (Swiss Federal Railways)
For the TELECOM event two special
rail passes are being made available by the Swiss federal railways (CFF) a Leman
Pass, and a Romandie Pass. The Leman Pass is valid for unlimited travel within the
specified period from Geneva to Yverdon, Lausanne, Vevey and Montreux, while the Romandie
Pass extends the Leman Pass to Neuchatel, Biel/Bienne, Fribourg, Bern, Martigny and Sion.
All prices shown below include VAT at 7.5%.
