TELECOM 99 NEWS
TNet99, the high-speed event network at Telecom 99 + Interactive 99 exhibition, will be implemented by Swisscom to support the Internet connectivity and inter-networking requirements of exhibitors and other participants during the event. Exhibitors may request connection(s) to this network (drops), to interconnect their LAN and WAN facilities or a standalone PC deployed as part of their stands and showcases, at the following levels:

Standalone PC 
10baseT Ethernet - UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) Category 5 with RJ-45 termination.
(a single IP address is provided)

LAN - 10 
10baseT Ethernet - UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) Category 5 with RJ-45 termination. 
(includes 6 IP addresses).

LAN - 100 
100baseT Ethernet - UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) Category 5 with RJ-45 termination.
(includes 30 IP addresses).

The TNet99 network will be an high-speed network backbone fully redundant and connected permanently to the Internet via two independent links at 34 Mbps each.
