SPACE AND VENUE

The Exhibition, with most of the major telecommunications companies represented, will cover the entire exhibition space within PALEXPO from Hall 1 to Hall 7 (62,500 m² of net floor surface). Given that requests for space exceeded the space available, we have, with the help of the Swiss authorities, transformed an area in the grounds in front of PALEXPO into exhibition space. The project, with temporary structures and covered walkways, will be an integral part of Palexpo for TELECOM 99 + INTERACTIVE 99. Consisting of the Press Center and Press Conference rooms, a TV studio, a Restaurant and an additional Exhibition Hall (Hall 8), the area will attract many visitors and of course the world’s media.

For the Exhibition, this means an extra 2,500 m². In total the Exhibition will therefore cover 65,000 m² of net floor space, not counting additional stories on multi-level stands and open air space used.
