In honour of ITU’s Plenipotentiary Conference 2010, Mexico’s Ministry of
Communications and Transport has designed a special commemorative stamp that
was launched at the conference opening ceremony on Monday 4 October by
President Felipe Calderón.
Using the PP-10 colours of pastel blues and greens, the stamp depicts the
continents of North and South America, showing the three satellite systems
serving Mexico and the surrounding region – Morelos 2, Solidaridad 2 and Satmex
6 – and featuring the logo of ITU.
