Biography of
Sam Paltridge, Communication Analyst, OECD
Sam Paltridge joined the OECD as a
communication analyst in the division of
information computer and communications policy in
1993. His recent work in communication has been on
broadband infrastructure as well as Internet
issues such as international traffic exchange. He
has been a principal author of the OECD's biennial
Communications Outlook between 1995 and 2003.
Sam is the OECD's representative to the ICANN
Government Advisory Comittee. In 2003, Dr
Paltridge made presentations to the Oxford
Internet Institute's broadband divides forum, the
ITU workshop on promoting broadband, ITU Telecom
World, the NARUC/NECA national summit on broadband
deployment, the ITS Asia-Australasian Regional
Conference, the NCAER International Roundtable on
Telecommunications Competition, the CEPT
conference and DigitalReykjavik.
