The Digital Opportunity Platform (DOP) is a multi-stakeholder partnership established in 2005 as a result of the World Summit on the Information Society Geneva, 2003 - Tunis 2005.

The founder members are the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Ministry if Information and Communication of the Republic of Korea (MIC) and the Korea Agency for Digital opportunity and Promotion (KADO. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) joined the Platform in 2005.
