Mrs Khédija Hamouda Ghariani, Sup
Telecom Engineer, graduated from the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure
des Télécommunications de Paris” in 1984, has been Secretary-General
of Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization
(AICTO) since January 2008.
Mrs Ghariani was Secretary of State to the Minister of
Communication Technologies for computer Science, Internet and
Free Open Source Software from November 2004 to December 2007.
She actively participated in the preparatory of WSIS (Geneva
2003 – Tunisia 2005).
From 1999 to 2004, Mrs Ghariani held a number of
responsibilities as the General Manager of the Telecom Research
& Studies Center, Tunisia Telecom, CEO of the Tunisian Internet
Agency and GM of the National Agency for Frequencies.
She has also been very active on the level of associations,
as Member of Association Board for the Employment of Disabled
Persons, Vice-President of the friendly society for Sup’Telecom
engineers, Founding member and previous chairman of “Women & ICT”
association. |
