Zeinal Bava, aged 43, is the CEO of
Portugal Telecom since the beginning of 2008.
Zeinal joined PT Multimedia as CFO in 1999 and has since had
various roles in the PT Group. He was the PT Group CFO from 2000
to 2006 and before taking over as CEO of PT, Zeinal developed a
vast experience in the PT Group, having been CEO of PT
Multimedia, up until its spinoff, CEO of TMN and Vice-President
of the domestic
wireline business.
Prior to joining PT, Zeinal was the Director and Relationship
Manager for Portugal of Merrill Lynch International from 1998
until 1999. Previously, he was the Executive Director of
Deutsche Morgan Grenfell from 1996 until 1998 and had the same
role with Warburg Dillon Read from 1989 until 1996.
Zeinal Bava is a graduate from the University College of
London where he studied Electronic and Electrical Engineering. |
