Accessibility – a universal requirement in a world of 7 billion people

An estimated 15 per cent of the world’s population lives with a disability. ITU is striving to ensure that information and communication technologies (ICTs) – and the myriad and multiplying benefits and opportunities they bring - are accessible to all, including those with disabilities.
