AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA
Editors: Due to time constraints, you are advised to assign two separate groups of journalists/photographers to cover the opening ceremony and welcome reception. There is no guarantee that media representatives covering the opening ceremony will be able to cover the welcome reception as well.
There will be four areas for media: two platforms at the back and two at the front on either side of the stage for still photographers and TV crews.
Please note:
The distance from the rear platforms to the stage is 70 metres. Telephoto lenses are recommended.
Visual media from the rear of the hall will be permitted to exit along with other guests; those in the front will be permitted to leave their enclosure only after all guests have departed, which could lead to delays for arrival at the Welcome Reception.
Crews may select either position which cannot be changed once the ceremony has started. Each platform will be equipped with XLR mult-boxes for the floor, English, Mandarin and Cantonese audio feeds.
The live feed will be available in TV booths at the Media Centre at AWE. TV Booths can be booked from Eurovision at a cost of 800USD for the duration of the event.
The pool feed will be provided by Eurovision contact:
Danny Duijs
