Comments of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Italy on the Memorandum of Understanding.

I have pleasure to inform you that the Italian Administration of Posts and Telecommunications has only one comment on the proposed text of the MoU on GMPCS user terminals. It refers to Article 1, and in particular, to the relevant ITU Recommendations on which type­approval standards should be based. Due to the ITU Recommendations making process, perhaps it would be better to consider any possible interim solution to cope with the dates of entry into commercial service of GMPCS systems.
