In your letter dated 13 November 1996, you request comments on the draft Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate the free circulation of Global Mobile Personal Communications by Satellite user terminals annexed to Opinion 4 of the World Telecommunication Policy Forum.
The Danish Administration welcomes the proposed draft MoU as a step forward towards facilitating the early introduction of GMPCS services at a global level. We do not have any major difficulties with the current text of the draft MoU, and major changes should not be made to it. We do however feel that the minor modifications proposed in the attached document from the CEPT should be made to the draft MoU.
Finally we would wish to inform you that we have the intention
to sign the MoU at an appropriate time early next year.
