Plataforma Nacional de Seguimiento a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible
ODS
The National Platform for Tracking the Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda2030.mx, aims to measure and track the progress on the SDGs in Mexico. The Platform was developed by the Mexican Federal Government and the National Institute of Statics and Geography (INEGI). Users have at their disposal officially verified information, data visualisation tools, and access to data on currently 80 SDG indicators of the Mexican 2030 Agenda, in open data formats. The indicators span a time period from 1994 to present, and can be desegregated by state, gender, age, among other variables. The website’s design and navigation was developed with various end-users in mind; from researchers looking to download raw open data to school-age people looking for downloadable maps and graphs. The project’s sustainability is ensured with the institutional construction of data sharing amongst government data with INEGI through the Information System of the Sustainable Development Goals (SIODS).
