Information about the project
Digital Leteracy in Angola
DLA
This project fulfills the need for massive digital literacy of Angolan’s population, the country that was immersed in a civil war that took more than 30 years with officially achieved peace on April 4, 2002. Since then, the Angola’s government has developed a wide literacy program to teach the population how to read and write. The digital literacy in the present project, is directed to the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate and analyze information using digital technologies, as well as the basic production of responsible and ethical content to publish. Digitally literate people can communicate and work more efficiently, understand language and be able to build communicative processes in digital environments in a responsible and ethical manner. The project will have the collaboration of several institutions of the country, the World Educational Network (REDEM) and the University Computer Science from Cuba (UCI). It will use the remote learning and teaching method.
National implementation: Angola
Ongoing from 03/01/2018 to 22/12/2020
