Description *
Lastly, MOE launched complete employee self-service (SSHR), which includes more than 200 services to help more than 740,000 employees located in 48 different locations, to process their HR services over the internet from anywhere. MOE Objectives, for solving its business challenges are: 1. Ensure that employees even in the remotest area were getting the best and efficient services from the HR department. Previously, employees had to visit the respective education department to get basic things done related to HR department. 2. Automate the manual processes to control the efficiency and save time. 3. Provide managers with KPIs to measure the productivity and efficiency of different HR departments. The Solutions: MOE decided to launch almost all the services related to employees as online self-services through internet, which are available 24*7 - 365 days. With this solution, there is eventually no need of employees to visit the HR offices. All these self-services are having attached workflows for approvals; these workflows designed to meet the MOE requirements. These workflows are dynamic in nature and ensure that all the respective stakeholders related to that process approve transaction. Dynamic alerts/notifications/SMS designed to update the employee about the latest status of the process. Managers and HR departments can generate online reports to review the transactions and to measure the important KPIs. The Ministry increased the productivity, efficiency, and proficiency of academic and non-academic employees by automating 100% Human Resources, and Administrative functions, by freeing resources to focus on core competencies.
