Qiwii: Virtual Queuing System and Big Data Analytic Dashboard to Improve Quality of Community Health Center Services in Bandung
Qiwii
Health issues have been the top three main problems that Indonesia should solve, one of the government main programs is building community health center in every area. However, due to large number of visitors every day and manual queuing process, there are new problems such as disease diffusion in unhealthy waiting room and unproductive queuing time for 2-3 hours. The manual queuing also made the policy decision slower, because the data will be gathered after 3-6 months. All these problems caused the health issues worse. However, after researching the problem, we found that the problems may solved with a simple technology like virtual queuing system as we named Qiwii. Qiwii built to simplify queuing system with three main features: 1. Register from different channels. 2. Estimated Queuing Time. 3. Real-time analytics and data update. Since the implementation of Qiwii, health service in Bandung improved 50% with two main indicators: average time of queuing decreased from 2-3 hours to only 30 minutes to an hour and updated real-time data analysis for health sector stakeholders. The decreased of average queuing time also made a great impact for disease diffusion and disease handling because the waiting room is not as crowded as using manual queuing. Also, the number of disease spreading reduced 40% regarding to the report of local deputy of health and the system simplify both patient and customer service flow which has been increasing their productivity and customer satisfaction from 3 (out of 5) to 4.5.
