Automation of production in rich countries affects the employment and wages of low-skilled workers, not only in their countries but also in those to which their products reach. Emerging countries must adapt to technological change as quickly as possible by making the most of its benefits. The costs will also come through trade. San Luis is getting ready the fourth industrial revolution with actions to maximize digitization of the province, brought together in the program "San Luis 3.0" with special emphasis on the education of its children and youth. Once free connectivity is provided throughout the province, adaptation to technological change will be promoted with a training plan in programming skills, the basis of the industry that is eating the rest. The ultimate goal is to get 10,000 programmers in 2 years. Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, said: β€œIt’s more important to learn programming than to learn English.” And he stressed that it is the type of knowledge that should be taught "in every school in the world.” The plan at the primary and secondary education levels aims to awaken curiosity and provide basic guidelines. Concerning young people, it intends to prepare them for a job in the fastest growing industry in the world.
