Educational Robotics and Learning by Design Program
Description *
The Robotics and Learning by Design Program started its implementation in 1998 in Costa Rica´s public schools by designing and implementing educational projects that use robotics in learning environments to promote the strengthening of students´ skills of observation, experimentation, design, innovation, reflection and communication required to create and program their own robots, and share their creative process with their peers and communities. The program has benefited thousands of children, youth, and teachers in public elementary through the Robotics Exploration Labs, and in public secondary schools through the Creative Solutions with Robotics Labs.
