MyGov
MyGov, Government of India’s citizen engagement platform, promotes citizen participation in India's governance and development. Launched on 26/07/2014 by Prime Minister Modi, MyGov leverages telecommunications and IT to facilitate citizen-government engagement on policy and program issues. India’s multi-fold increase in Internet usage and IT accessibility has stirred political and social awareness and participation among citizens, providing multiple online avenues to voice opinions. Realising technology’s vast potential, the PM envisioned MyGov to foster People’s Participation for Good Governance. Every citizens’s dream to partner in governance and the government’s vision to harness the citizens’ talent and expertise is now a reality.
