FAO-ITU E-agriculture Strategy Guide
The agriculture sector stands to gain a lot through leveraging on the growth of information and communication technologies. A strategic approach to e-agriculture will help to rationalize resources and harness this opportunity to meet countries agriculture goals in an accelerated manner. The existence of e-agriculture strategy and its alignment with other government plans will prevent e-agriculture projects and services from being implemented in isolation. FAO, ITU and partners have developed the E-agriculture Strategy Guide, this framework formed the basis to develop the national e-agriculture strategies and develop key ICT solutions for Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Philippines.
