Information about the project
Greenmap Belarus
Greenmap Belarus - is a popular free online resource, which accumulates, visualizes and provides easy access to environmental information in Belarus, related to waste recycling and management, renewable energy, important nature territories, as well as environmental organizations and initiatives. The project has grown from a map of waste recycling stations in Minsk in 2012 to the combined map of environmental information for more than 115 towns of Belrus in 2016. Greenmap is a result of co-operation between environmental NGOs, governmental agencies and international organizations. The map is grounded on the information, which is regularly provided by a network of local volunteers in the regions of Belarus.
