Kuwait Information Network
KIN
The Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) was established back in 2006 as a government initiative with the main responsibility to develop and implement the e-Government program of Kuwait. CAIT partnered with an international consultant to set CAIT’s e-Government strategy for the next five years. Kuwait Information Network (KIN) was one of the early projects that was planned to provide the communications infrastructure that paved the way towards efficient and integrated nationwide e-services implementation. KIN was planned to integrate the networks of all government entities (GEs) to enable future integration of isolated information systems and develop electronic services.
